چکیده
Structural damage assessed on conventional radiographs is an important outcome measure in psoriatic arthritis. This article reviews the available scoring methods. A full description of the methods is given as well as information on various aspects of validity.

Preliminary identification of core domains for outcome studies in psoriatic arthritis using Delphi methods.
OBJECTIVE To develop a consensus based set of core domains for outcome studies in psoriatic arthritis. METHODS A list of 26 potential domains was prepared through literature review and email discussions amongst the GRAPPA steering committee members and scored by rheumatologists identified through membership of the CASPAR study and the steering committee. Each participant was emailed an up to ...
متن کاملThe OMERACT psoriatic arthritis magnetic resonance imaging scoring system (PsAMRIS): definitions of key pathologies, suggested MRI sequences, and preliminary scoring system for PsA Hands.
This article describes a preliminary OMERACT psoriatic arthritis magnetic resonance image scoring system (PsAMRIS) for evaluation of inflammatory and destructive changes in PsA hands, which was developed by the international OMERACT MRI in inflammatory arthritis group. MRI definitions of important pathologies in peripheral PsA and suggestions concerning appropriate MRI sequences for use in PsA ...
متن کاملComparing bone mineral density in rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis
Background: Changes in patients’ bone mineral density (BMD) is one of the problems in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, which can be due to the use of corticosteroid drugs to reduce patients' symptoms or due to the aging process in patients. In this study, we decided to compare BMD in patients with psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: This study as a cross-sectional descrip...
متن کاملTesting an OMERACT MRI scoring system for peripheral psoriatic arthritis in cross-sectional and longitudinal settings.
OBJECTIVE Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is increasingly used to measure articular inflammation and damage in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA). We evaluated the reliability of a new OMERACT PsA MRI scoring system, PsAMRIS, in PsA fingers. METHODS In 2 separate studies, MRI scans were obtained from patients with clinical evidence of synovitis or dactylitis of the fingers. For the firs...
متن کاملDiagnostic imaging of psoriatic arthritis. Part II: magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography
Plain radiography reveals specific, yet late changes of advanced psoriatic arthritis. Early inflammatory changes are seen both on magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound within peripheral joints (arthritis, synovitis), tendons sheaths (tenosynovitis, tendovaginitis) and entheses (enthesitis, enthesopathy). In addition, magnetic resonance imaging enables the assessment of inflammatory features...
